Hi, my name is Melanie. I am based in London with a second base in Amsterdam. As you probably know by now, I am a professional actor and work across both theatre and screen. I am currently self represented and open to representation.

I am a 2017 drama school graduate (Birmingham School of Acting - now RBC) and prior to this I also completed four amazing years at Tring Park School.

Since 2017 I have been lucky enough to blend my love of theatre with my adoration for travel and have performed in over 10 countries. These touring productions have ranged from Shakespeare to British classics to new writing. Most recently I have been working in the Netherlands and currently have a second base in Amsterdam.

Other theatre includes UK regional tours in the role of Ranger Rachel in Dinosaur Adventure Live and as a Presenter in Exciting Science, a range of one woman shows by writer Ian Dixon Potter accross London Pub Theatres, The Snow Queen at Blenheim Palace with Rusticus Arts and immersive theatre, outdoor theatre, festival shows and event gigs.

On screen work includes an array of projects with the London Film Acadamy, the role of Jill in Midnight Peepshow and Poppy in The Body is Watching me, the latter, both horrors, clearly I have a penchant for a thrill.

Some of these jobs involved Theatre in Education to some degree and I have been able to use these skills to branch into facilitation allowing me to lead a theatre workshop for industy professionals in CART Cochin - India. Currently I work with CODA Dance as an assistant facilitator at the Royal Neurological Hospital in Putney, London. (I enjoy facilitation and coaching, so if by any chance you've found my page and are intrested in getting some advice I would be more than happy to chat about drama school or booking your first professional gig, if there is anything I can help with please feel free to drop me a message - My contact details can be found on the last page)
